Our last day of cycling! A relatively easy 30 km from Trogir to Split. A brilliant section in the middle along the coast bookended with some busy roads leaving Trogir and entering Split. Rolling in to split, we were greeted by the city walls, an ancient city indeed! Our Airbnb met us early and provided safe storage for our bikes which was very welcome! Showers and then out and about exploring the amazing Roman and pre-roman town. Took a walking tour to really get more of the history which was super. I'll say I'm surprised by the amount of attention people give to the games of thrones filming that happened in the town. We were more impressed with the 2000+ year history, but we did all decide to reread the game of thrones books! Visited Jupiter's temple, the palace, and many places in between. A nice celebratory dinner and off to sleep!
