A 6 am breakfast at the diner and fast departure to beat the heat. Smoke from the fires were all around us but we were all ready to move on to Ovando and move we did! 28 miles and 2900 ft of gradual climbing went fast and we all biked for 4 hours with only short stops and got here by 11 am. A nice lunch at the stray bullet, an early checkin at the quaint inn/everything store, showers(!), laundry, napping, dinner and now bed. A simple but good day. Good night!
And of course thinking about the tragedy that happened in this town of 80 people and prays to the lady’s family. many bikers coming through town today The most we’ve seen in while.
