Good night sleep in a motel 6 quality with aspen highland pricing! Up early for a 44 mile stretch to Big Fork. Mostly flat but it all adds up, so over 1000 ft up and down. Had a good town breakfast and then a slow stretch moving out of town with a head wind, but then we turned and we picked up the pace.

Highlights: a friendly dog at first break, the best arnold palmers at lunch (but we ate our own packed food), chatting with a few different Divide riders at lunch (one riding to raise money for Sudan wells - justgiving.com, campaign the village wells project), getting in to a great town of Big fork. Hitting the Monday night market in town with street food and live music.

Low light: the mid day heat as we finished our ride at 3 pm and Realizing our 10 mile day tomorrow is actually 28 miles

Flexibility lesson: doing a zero tomorrow to recover so we can do a different plan with big climbs and 33 miles for the next few days! It’s going to be a challenge, but hopefully rested we can get ‘er done!
